The grain. Yes, oak wood slabs do tend to have more grain to them. The inherent movement in the wood lends itself to enhanced character. We think our oak wood slabs have a ton of interest and thereby make for great conversation pieces.

The color. The terrific thing about a wood slab table constructed of oak is that the color has a uniqueness to it that simply cannot be duplicated. Because of the grain, there is a variation in the color when the finish is applied. Also, oak slabs tend to be warmer in nature than some other wood slabs you’ll find around the Rochester, New York region.
